0007 Notes 2013 Monday October 7th An Indian Meal delivered, Political reshuffles and British excess in europe

0007 7th October 2013. It is 8.30 and I have been up for two hours after a breakfast of cereal mix and now a cup of coffee having washed up after last night’s mini feast and got myself up.

For the past five years I have collected all the home delivery/order and collect leaflets over 300 and covering 112 establishments although many with the same addresses have changed owners and names but never ordered given the premium for one and the common sense of preparing my own meals quicker and for less expense. Having a relative stay provided the opportunity to order and by mistake I chose a delivery from an establishment in Fredericke Street, the Shah Jan Spice Kitchen rather from close by in Ocean Road.

We chose one fo their Flexi bags which contained four onion hajjis with dips, 2 poppadoms and a Nan Bread, 2 cans of ice cold pop and a choice of 2 traditional curries where we chose chicken, a chicken Korma with a core of milk, cream and coconut powder and a Chicken Dansak cooked with lentils and pineapple however this description failed to communicate the depth of spice which dishes provided accompanied with a pelau rice, there was sufficient for three or four portions.

We watched the recording of the X Factor skipping through the adverts and then Downton Abbey followed up by the ITV news.

There is a blue sky streaked with wispy clouds and the good autumnal weather continues at least for the morning as I have not followed the weather forecast for the week.

14,50 It was warm as well as sunny when i went out to the local station this morning where the final touches was being put to the electronic barriers. Having used up my remaining cash with the home delivery, I called in at a hole in the wall for some more on my way home. I cooked a chicken for lunch using much of the breast with ratatouille followed by confession time not one but both a chocolate and Lemon sweet on crumble in glass ramekins. Tomorrow I have a Chinese Stir fry with half the rest of the chicken and on Wednesday another chicken curry. I am shortly tasking a case for collection at Newcastle station where I hope there will be time for a cup of tear beforehand.

Meanwhile Nick Clegg is the first of the Party Leaders to announced that he has sacked the Scottish secretary because he was proving too wet about Independence and also created a new Chief Whip.

22.10 very tired so not sure for how long I will be able to write up rest of my day. Decided to go only by car to Hewarth and parked for two hours £1,50 (for £1,40) and then enjoyed a fruit juice at the station before waving goodbye and return in the rush hour, very busy, London tube style. Enjoyed smoked salad this evening with coffee, after taking the chicken flesh from rhe carcass.

Enjoyed the Classical Brit awards recorded programme which was followed by a special programme about Malala the Pakistani girl who was shot by the Taliban and now works for Peace as well as attending High School in the UK. She is in line for the Nobel Peace Prize.

This was followed by a sixty minute special on male stag parties in Prague. Very enlightening in terms of risks taken and threats. And I must follow up the first programme about a drunk, drugs and sex resort in are new Euro friends in Bulgaria in terms of the EEC.

In terms of the reshuffles there have been no major shocks on seismic changes. Cameron had not alter red his Cabinet but moved out some middle ranking Ministers to bring in new faces, more women and also some from the back benchers. Ed Miliband has brought in a Historian to face the troublesome Mr Gove at education and moved the Shadow defence Man to Development, someone who appeared to me in fact appeared a strong advocate of Polaris renewal and retaining the military nuclear strategy. After catching up on cultural experiences I will switch back on my genuine political man of the world and its future mode.
