0002 Notes 2013 October 2nd

0002 Wednesday 2nd October 2013 at 8.05.I have been up an hour after a good sleep with one getting up and SPTM of 8.4 or second consecutive morning. I played chess to game 17, Mah-jong to 3.5 million points and Patience to 1260 or was it 70? I then checked emails and have won £5.20 from £2 Euro Lottery and then purchases ticket for tonight the last of the £1 national draw with the £1 minimum game on Saturday, tickets can be purchased tomorrow. I then remembered that I had not checked my winnings from Durham winning the championship and had a job logging on forgetting my log on name and then the password but all is well with £108 in the kitty having invested a total of £50 in Durham winning each of the three competitions so I have a net gin on the account of £58 and 33 pence. I will invested again in one of the Euro competitions, perhaps Arsenal or the Premier ship perhaps £10 each and then leave the remained for next year’s cricket. Now for getting myself up, breakfast, move the car and finish day room before the big clean and tidy here and the front room. Boiler man coming from 10 to 14.00 I think! 08.15

11.30.An early lunch after the boiler man come and gone, finishing the day room just in time and doing the front room bar vacuum and playing more games to 1500 patience, yes it was higher and chess to 20 and Mah-Jong to 3.75m.Check emails and started fourth episode Young Montalbano Now lunch. 11.45.

12.00 Put the bathroom back and weighed and about 16 2 to 3 Ilb so still going in right direction but must keep it up. Going to have a corn con started followed by a small lamb steak with spaghetti. Will watch Cameron where the media has focussed less on his speech and more the row between the Leader of the labour party and his supporters and the Daily Mail who has published an article with the headline, He hated Britain and which they have maintained, basically arguing that he hated the kind of Britain the Mail and its readership stand for and which the majority of right thinking balanced and rational people will abhor. It is going to get rougher as the General Election progresses with I suspect Cameron drawn into taking an increasing right wing position to appease the Fascists despite their anathema to him. 12.05

14.40 I have just had a most frustrating time for after an enjoyable meal and watching the tail end of a bad film I discovered that the Prime Minister had made his speech earlier in the day and not at as I was led to believe. So I went to Catch up and discovered I could only get Showcase. Contacted Sky via online chat and the suggestion was to change the Ethernet cable. Did this and only got a partial service. Tried switching TV off at main and had difficulty getting Sky back. Tried to phone and waited but when operator came he said he could not hear me and switched off. Then I found the remote on the TV did not work, change batteries and still did not work. However after unplugging wireless modern and re plugging the On demand with Catch Up is back as before and I have just managed to get mute using the remote so perhaps all is not lost but I am at sixes and sevens as a consequence and not at all in the mood for anything. 14.27

17.59. I have recovered from the frustrating period this afternoon and completed writing fo the fourth episode of Young Montalbano thus completing 2495 which has been checked and published and is now printing. I have out the car away and enjoyed evening meal of a light soup with crackers followed by a salad mixture with olives, lettuce, baby tomatoes, cucmber, shredded carrot and peperoni. I will keep an eye on football this evening with Man City and Man United in th Champions league.

21.20 I grow tired and the football has not been good Man U scored away but their opponents have equalised with 15 minuets to go.Mn City are losing 3.0 at home. Just swirchd back and City have got a consolation goal after being thumped. I will stay on until the game ends but sign off now
