2344 Diary 18.09.2012

09.45 Had a good and long Sleep Apnoea session and overall sleep and wake to clear blue sky. Last night I switched off from the football to New Tricks will be covered later and then watched the second half recorded afterwards believing from the news that Newcastle had lost. What a surprise then when I watched the match has had exciting end and an important season changing 2.2 draw. The Newcastle players had started the game with the wrong attitude that a draw would be a good result and therefore concentrated on defence which when penetrated they were left with nothing. After half time the attitude changed and Demba Ba scored twice, the last goal in the final seconds to level the game. Everton were deprived of one of those goals which from one angle did not look as if it had crossed the live before being kicked out while from another it was. A feature of the match as mentioned yesterday but given emphasis on TV is that the Ball handlers wore shirts numbered 96 signalling the support of the club and fans for the fight for Justice for the families of those unlawfully killed at Hillsborough, now that the truth has been established.

10.20. Bed remade and Apnoea mask brought downstairs for cleaning after refilling the humidifier. Averaging 6, 7 hours after first week of using new machine. Weight is showing the signs of new regime effectiveness at the 16 and half stone mark. Completed one additional box transfer on a clear blue sky morning and although and slow start without feeling enthusiasm for physical activity will do another box and considering an early walk perhaps to the supermarket for breadcrumbs, batter and any sprat pack availability as well as the £1 grape cartons before these run out if they have not already with none at Azda yesterday. There is an important letter to write and yesterday’s diary to read through before publishing.

10.40 The work transfers and ground floor work and leisure room as well as library lounge will be completed by lunch time with three more journeys to the top to go and a preliminary allocation of the freed shelve space. I have also topped and tailed myself ready to go out. Need a cool drink and will check the post. Will also check out the TV viewing the day after posting yesterdays Dairy a la films

12.20 completed and published yesterday’s Dairy which runs to 20 pages. Collected broad beans which amounted to one helping but enjoyed the effort and will do better next year. Decided to arrange for the roof over the bay problem while the car is on the roadside and the weather is reasonable. Completed most of the work transfer but with one trip to go. Computer is going slow, and must talk to someone re fixing.

12, 25 TV check reveals that Romanzo Criminale season two begins tonight. Great news. There is also first leg Euro matches involving Man City and Arsenal on earlier. 20 20 world cup also begins and opening on Sky of last years Jane Eyre film but which will another day on Sly anytime. Will complete work transfer and then lunch. A chicken stir fry.

13.45 Watched last part of Bargain Hunt while enjoying he stir fry made up if the final part of the chicken from Sunday (£1), a carton of vegetables (£1.20), Thai spicy sauce £.65) packet in inexpensive noodles (£0.14) some ground ginger, noodle spice and olive oil £3. It is a quick meal to make.

13.50 I watched upsetting and depressing News at 13.00 with the death of an unarmed policewoman and another fighting for her life after investigating an explosion in a garden and the subsequent arrest of a wanted man for murders committed earlier in the year in the Greater Manchester Area. There is more news regarding he operational changes to try and reduce the number of NATO troop death caused by the enemy in Afghanistan posing as national forces and policemen. There was brighter local news with the development of new steel processing factory on Teesside and Nicola Adams giving boxing lessons to young men as part of a Dame Kelly Holmes initiative at Gateshead. However at York a three year toddler appears to have accidentally died at nursery attached to a local college.

00.35 Staying up because of ticklish throat and wanting to start recording the first episode of Romanzo Criminale at 01.00 which I missed at 9 although I saw the second at 10.

It has been quite a day. I commenced to reorganise the back bringing in of the sweet pepper plants now that very cold weather has commenced and with a view to getting the roof above the desk fixed. While the car is on the roadside because the back lane problems. I will contact the contact on Thursday if I have not heard anything beforehand.

00.40 worked hard at very important writing between two and six before going to the supermarket for £1 carton grapes (4) some breadcrumbs, but they were out of the cheap batter and found some cuppa soups at 50p for four packets. Half price and will stock up. They were out of batter. Yesterday I got some huge mushroom and tomatoes

00.45 had the quiche for tea with a soup and grapes and later a cereal.

Watched the Recruit which I am sure I have seen before as the ending was familiar and will write about sometime. Decided not to watch the football with Man city going down 3.2 and being 2, 1 against Real Madrid up this is a league with points and not the home and away stage.

The second police woman has died. It is indeed a black day. The man who did walk into police station giving himself up fearing he would gun down. What a coward. I received a Facebook notice that Calvin McKenzie was door stepped by Channel Four re Hillsborough. Brilliant must see if it on their I Player.
