IGGY POP and the Stooges storm Glastonbury With a primeval beat and thundering lyrics Iggy Pop looking every naked torso millimetre his age took the Glastonbury audience by its balls and tossed himself and them into the mud. Now you begin to get the idea

And Ritchie Havens was appearing somewhere,
My front television has finally said goodbye by losing colour. This provides the excuse to purchase a new wide screen and get another aerial fitted to the roof for digital free view, although I do have the means to beam Sky but suspect this will cause havoc once I beam wireless internet around the house. Listened to a Bruce Springsteen DVD in which he talks about the meaning of a dozen songs after giving a studio performance. For some reason there were subtitles in German. Looked on Big Brother House and David Dimbleby's tour of historical Britain with Bath Bristol, Cornish Coast and Dublin Fair City. Spent three days in Bristol and Dublin and about six or seven weeks on the Cornish Coast over four visits spread over a decade and a half, and about a similar period of time over a similar period in Devon, including one memorable journey to bring back two absconding teenage girls on remand to court who entertained train passengers with tales of their experiences and colourful descriptions of their private anatomy. The Highlight was preventing them going off with two young squadys. Fortunately I had an experienced female work to assist me but as duty officer I had the responsibility, with by the Childrens officer who provided mid afternon Sunday Tea before departure Westward

This has been a good work day and eating day. No breakfast, a reasonable chunk of chicken with sufficient over for three more meals instead of the usual two, two thirds the usual quantity of roast potatoes and one pear, no afternoon tea and then this evening soup small Ciabatta and larger Ciabatta, half carton of strawbs, tea. A few dates snacks but nothing since 9pm but will have three or four dates before bed around 2am. Some physical exercise reorganising some furniture, good visit to my mother and I nearly forgot, what could be the most important personal communication in a decade.
